Being a 100% independent and family-run business, we have the experience and the accreditation required to restore, rejuvenate and cool any residential or commercial roof. This is achieved with a range of specially formulated heat-reflective coatings, exterior protective coatings and roof paints.
In August 2019 we won the Excellence in Energy Efficiency and Environmental Management award at the North Queensland Master Builders nominations. And as you can imagine this was a great milestone and recognition of the difference we want to make in the building industry and the way we approach the issue of waste management, environmental impact and carbon footprint in the tropics.
Winning the Women in Building at the North QLD Master Builders awards night was another achievement for our business. And we hope that this one will inspire other women to step in, step up and bring in their unique set of skills to the construction industry – a woman’s touch!
RoofGuard® is a licensed and registered polyurethane coatings applicator. And we have completed factory training on the full range of German polyurethane products, Dulux roof and exterior paint products.
We have built a great relationship with the manufacturers. That is why we are able to offer our customers a fully documented 10-year warranty on the products we use. And that is in addition to the legislated 6+ years workmanship warranty.
What a great celebration on Saturday night! Master Builders Queensland puts on a good party, but seeing the creativity, vision, designs and the craftsmanship of local builders and tradies is what this glitzy event is all about. We may be good at what we do as professional painters here at RoofGuard, but without the trust from customers, we cannot show what we are capable of. And of course our "village"! All the people around us who support, cheer and celebrate us along the way of running a business. This is our 3rd Trade Contractor of the Year award and the butterflies don't go away.
Over the weekend we attended the Master Builders Queensland awards for the North QLD region. It is the annual highlight recognition event for the building & construction industry. We love celebrating and cheering on many accomplished builders and tradespeople... but most of all we love bringing an award home!! Residential Trade Contractor of the Year, second year in a row. This year's project is the Riverplace Apartments at Fairfield.
What a great night at the Master Builders Queensland awards! RoofGuard won the Residential Trade Contractor of the Year for the Havannah Vista project. My special thanks goes to our amazing team that make visions come to reality, the story teller & videographer that captured the love story - JC Filmz - Videography Townsville, Rob (& team) from Reef Coast Constructions for being exemplary role model/s of cooperation and mentoring, the local Master Builders team for being there not just for the party, but when things are tough too. Jeffrey, the best husband in the world who would follow me to the ends of the earth with an unfailing 'Can do' attitude. Our amazing customers who trusted us with this project and cheered us all the way through.
This year we threw our hat in the ring and nominated one of our projects for the prestigious awards in Building and Construction hosted by Master Builders Queensland. We nominated Deni Knuth for the prestigious awards in Building and Construction hosted by Master Builders Queensland. We were very fortunate to be awarded the Women in Building award for North Queensland. Building a business is not a one (wo)man job!
